@tom and nitin We have checked the possibility of it being 15 pts higher and rejected it for the following reasons...
1. The prelims scores are always multiplied by 7 and counted s the difference cant be due to a mistake in that. Mistake in prelims score entries would always result in differences in multiples of 7.
2. So that brings us to the position points we give in Quizzes. As far as our record shows you have 5th in Quiz1, 4th in Quiz5 and 4th in Quiz6.... If there is a mistake it could be in this...
So please do feel free to point out the mistake (if any)...
If there are none, then i believe your points are 390...

yes....i guess that calls for an explanation....there was a mistake in the scores given to the top six teams for Quiz 6....tom and nitin were accidentally given 2nd spot(25pts) instead of their 5th(10pts).....
All the six teams got messed up...
A tired worn out, sleep depraved enquire exec was found to be the culprit... :P ....god knows who that was... ;)
nyways....we have corrected it in the latest scores......
and another thing....we will be moving on to our very own site in the near future....where you will have a much better way to view and check your scores and much more [:O] ....!!!!
one dout....i remembr u sayin sayin tht if a skool hz a high no: of teams in eql..u wil do sth 2 restore the equality...coz frm my skool only 2 teamz particip8 regularly n only 5 wer registered initially...stil we hv smthing around 1500 pts...but adarsha hz 10+ registered n arndd 5 particip regularly...so iznt there a disparity...do reply ur opinion.
The scoring system which we used for schools is like this...
First, we find the average score of all the teams in the league.....
Then for the school points, we add all the points of the teams in that school who has more points than the League average....
Even though adarsha has 10+ teams...their domination shows that they have more teams performing very consistently in the league....
Yes, it is true that with just two teams competing regularly and getting 1500 is a great achievement from your part, kudos to both the teams....but we cannot give extra credit for the school due to the simple reason that there are only 2 teams which are above average teams, so as to say from the school.....whereas adarsha has more...and hence has more points....
I believe the system is clear......
We arrived at this sytem after going through a lot of possibilities and felt this was the fairest of all....
Look guys giv enquire some space 2 breathe. they r human beings as well. They too hafta study and do quite a lot of other things. So jus back off. They will tell u wen they r ready 2 do so.they actually changed the last quiz coz quite a lot of teams had their picnics on that day. Also i dont think being annonymous and postin snide comments and threats is cool. Its a cowardly thing to do. If u wanna say say somethin there is no problem in using ur name or r u too much of a coward to do so???!
The winner will obviously be chosen according to the total points in the league....
On a different note, sorry to be keeping you guys waiting, but we are yet to finalise the date and venue for the grand finale....
Off the record, we are trying to have the grand finale this weekend, and it would be really appreciated if all the teams could turn up as we have prizes and certificates for everyone....
An official confirmation on the date and venue will be put up in the blog by tomorrow...so please be patient till then...
Why don't you guys ,put up the date and venue of the next quiz on the blog. You had announced on the blog ,yesterday that you would be updating it today! This is frustration ! So please be quick!
