The die was rolled, the gamble taken and we hit jackpot. Tremendous response, immense participation and an exhilarating quizzing season. A walk down memory lane to Season 1.
The first quiz was held on June 21, 2008 at Bhavans Varuna Vidyalaya.
The first season had a participation of 87 teams from 9 schools.
CHAMPIONS: BHAVANS ADARSHA VIDYALAYA
Winners: EQL Season 1 – Arjun Menon and Aditya Unnikrishnan (BAV)

Um, enquire, listen to this, i think it's important.Its about you dividing the teams into two sections(an upper EQL and a lower one)I have a question, how r u gonna divide the teams?pls tell me that, i think it might cause a problem.
Pls wud u guys tell the date.(At least an approx time like mide june etc.)
i had put up d idea of 2 tiers of the league last year..it came across widespred oppreession......

See you dont need a two tier system just because if you have such a thing first of all it will only worsen up things i.e. Quizzers will lose their potential when it comes to higher levels of Quizzing,...
secondly Its gonna give EnQuire a whole lot of problems .Thirdly its time consuming 2 quizzes a day After all Quizzer shudnt be afraid of challenges...

Sorry to inform you but we haven't got your mail. If you do tell us which school you are from we will definitely make sure a registration form gets to you.
Dear Everyone Else,
We are NOT considering a change to a two tier system of the League. It would be extremely difficult to make two sets of quizzes.
You should understand along with the League we have our academics to look after too. ^_^
Tentatively we are planning to have the Curtain Raiser in the last week of June.

@ enquire.....the cutain raiser isn't really needed....it serves only the new teams.....others wud prefer the 1st quiz instead....i mean if u leave out the curtain raiser....v can hav 1 more quiz wich add to the standings...!!!

Dear Rushabh and Anon, We do understand that many of you prefer to have one more quiz. But given the circumstances such as the participation of more teams, who are new to the league, we find it necessary to conduct a curtain raiser. It is also important to our new exes, to get them familiar with the proceedings. This is why even the curtain raiser is an important date in the season calender.
