EQL KICKOFF POSTPONED

First up, we would like to thank all those who have responded to our call to join the EQL for their support.

Of the many responses we got, many students had requested us to postpone the start of the league as this is their exam time. We have decided to consider this request seriously, for the league's success depends on maximum participation in every quiz. As a result, the quiz on February 16^th stands postponed.

The new dates for the launch of the league will be decided after taking into account the requests of all the schools and students who are interested in taking part in the league.

Meanwhile, we would like to carry on with the work of setting up the rest of the things. For this it is necessary that we get a rough estimate of the number of participants and the means to maintain contact with them all the time. The purpose of the quiz on the 16^th was mainly this. So, we hope that, inspite of the postponement the schools will send in the registration forms and all the students will start accessing the blogspot we have set up. Any news with regards to the league will be first put up on the blog.

Also, we request the students to post their comments on the blog as knowing their thoughts will only help us in conducting the league in a better manner. Another important thing to do for those interested in the League would be join our Orkut Community - Enquire, Calicut. Please tell us which school you are from, your email id and your phone number when you join.

THINGS TO DO FOR NOW

1. Send in the registration forms to Bhavans Varuna Vidyalaya, Thrikkakkara, Kochi – 682021.

2. The registration fee will be collected later on at the venue of the first quiz.

3. Students please visit our blog and post your comments and let us know what you think. it is to be understood that the blog is the easiest means for us to convey the important announcements to the students.

4. We will be begin sending of quizlets to all those who have sent in their registration forms.

5. We hope that all the students will take it up as their responsibility to make sure that we are always in a position to contact them either via their teacher-in-charge or e-mail as it is not practical for us to keep sending pamphlets to your school every time we conduct a quiz.
